I really dig this Two ears in the Public Park photograph by Rab Walker. It makes me think of memories. I have plenty of associations for the memories I have. That is what Rab is doing here.
He says, Walking in the Public Park can lead to dreams about what might have been, what might be.
He uses photographs from his past, mixed in current photographs of those past locations today. So each is a truly personal work.
His work is inspired by David Hockney, yet digitally created using found objects and memories. I think this is so cool that his memories can spark and translate to my own.
Rab is in the Saatchi gallery. He lives and works in the UK. If you dig this as much as I do, here is my link to purchase.
