Ricardo Stutz

I really dig this Blue Shark piece by Ricardo Stutz. The original is actually dry chalk. I love how the background looks textured. I love how the shark seems to have a personality. He seems like he might be friendly.

It reminds me of when I was little, I had an imaginary bathtub friend [one of many], named Sharon the Shark. She was generally affable; but she was still a shark. So I had to be wary.

Just because this guy looks harmless doesn’t mean you should let your guard down. Though since he is a giclee on canvas he’s probably ok.

Ricardo is in the Saatchi gallery. He lives and works in Brazil.
