I really dig this Lost in the Wilderness of Lavender Field painting by US artist, S. Lan. It is acrylic on canvas. It is elegantly simple, but the textures make it just pop.

I absolutely LOVE the color combination too! S. does a lot of these expressionist landscapes, but I think I like this one the best! [I just love lavender]. I can gaze at it any time I feel like escaping to a lavender field. [Saatchi take me away!]

S. is an Expressionist painter who says Often painting is an adventure, because I never know what it would end up to be! It’s like the tools have the minds of their own, and I am just a participant, it’s amazing to see the curves and colors form in different shapes and tell their stories.
