I really dig this Em Cima painting by UK artist, Stephen Feather. Its acrylic on paper. Stephen says it’s a picture of a night time landscape in Santos, Brazil. A very expressionist landscape. I looked up Em Cima; it’s Portuguese for “up there.”

So it must be on a higher ground of some sort.

I love that it is a city painting with bold strokes that refused to be ignored. And don’t get me started on the texture. I really can’t look away.
