I really dig this Silence n. 9 painting by Spanish abstract artist, Cristina Granja. It’s part of a series exploring the concept of Silence.

She says living in a busy city like Barcelona, makes it almost impossible to find moments for enjoying silence. Silence is much more than the absence of noise. Silence is an opportunity to initiate a trip to your deepest self, a way of understanding your own nature.
