I really dig this I Can’t Get Used To This Lifestyle painting by Mark Hopkins.

He says,

The dystopian song ‘Flowers’ (Talking Heads ) ends with “I can’t get used to this lifestyle”. Here we are… paying little attention as the landscape moves out from under us. Do we miss the daisy covered parking lot? A few things to add to the lyrics: Funkyshima, Stranded Rock, Amazon not Prime, Bro Paul. It may be or not be what we want but it’s our lifestyle.

I love all things Talking Heads, so I really thought this was cool.
