I really dig this Untitled collage by Szymon Wojtak! It looks really happy. It’s made of old newspapers. I wouldn’t say that cats inspire happiness for me…as cats are not particularly known for their happy dispositions…the combination of the gray of the newspapers, with the intermittent colors, and the abstract rendering of the cat lifts my spirits.

Szymon makes these colorful abstract expressionist pieces and he doesn’t seem to title any of them. He says, I do not think much about cats, I just create them.
